"Heaven be praised for solitude. Let me be alone.
Let me cast and throw away this veil of being, this cloud that changes with the least breath night and day, and all night and all day."
Woolf, Virginia 'The Waves'

Very nice! It has some reminiscence of the 16th century Flemish paintings !

Lovely to see your new painting. This seems like a dark beach at the end of the world with the last creatures. The mysterious light seems phosphorescent... Welcome back, Rodica

I like the way this harks back to the earlier days of the last century, and yet manages to look somehow contemporary at the same time. Very ambiguous and another one to spend time looking at :-)
