Description

I had no idea what to post today. I came up with this funny little poem that doesn't conform to any style that I know of. It's dedicated to all those insomniacs out there. ------------------------------ Your mind is running jumping dipping Flowing over the brim of your cup Just stop. These thoughts are too mad escaping evading and fleeing your hold and control Just stop. While you are lying tossing reclining waiting for sleep to enfold Just stop Breathe in deep rhythmic in time to the tick of your clock Just stop.

Lol @ Deane. You should stop turning yourself on with all those erotic models you render on poser. Maybe that way you'd be able to get some sleep. ;o) Thanks PW. I've been there tossing and turning myself quite often.

The rythm of the poem reminds of a clock ticking away. Fortuantely I don't know what it us to lie awake for long.

Susie, and interesting poem, as yes, I too am a member of the up all night, and day club. Thus, thank you for this delightful little poem.Yet, as strange as this may soundmy mind after all alone commands my heart to beat keeping me alive, thus I figure, just with that alone I am thankful, and if I find I cannot sleepwhat is it that is keeping rest from me? It is my mind that craves a new lesson I have it yet to feed (read) or it is its own desires to create, (write, or some other art form) and why hold it back? After all it does for me. Besides as we all know, time waits for no man, or no mind and each heart only has so much time. (Just a thought as I too have often once upon a time pondered, why am I still awake?)

Beautifully, written work, Miss SusiQ! -- "I" have NO trouble putting others to 'sleep'. T.P.

If only I could make my mind "just stop", Oh what a releif it would be.... Cute poem. Originality was a good thing last time I checked, so why conform;)...Ben
