I have many dreams, mostly ones one can hardly convey in spoken language. I want nature and peace around me, yet I do not want to relinquish digital photography. I have a Nikon D200 with a very basic lens. I had a Canon 30D too, but what a disappointment. BIO I am 55, an IT consultant and tried my hand at diamond digging, computer programming, being a network & computer technician, web designer, amateur photographer, etc. I am a man of the bush and appreciate simple things. I do photography assignments from time to time. I am privileged to live where I do, (map), a rural area in South Africa where I can hear the lions roar just 12 miles (20km) from where I live. I love this site and the artists uploading their work and I don't think any other site offers this varied depth in artistic skills. Piet

Such a beauty. I am intrigued by the medicinal use of ANY plant. Grandma would give us mint tea or chamomile, depending on the ailment. My Dad figured this included making any fruit into "kicker" wine. Love these and keep 'em coming. :0)

Superb this flower, so delicate and with incredible soft color ! I'm always amazed by all the beauties we have all arround us, in each part of the world. But in Africa there is something more... can't explain what, or maybe I think that because I grow in Congo... and I have my reminds of child... It's so wild and powerful ! I love your photographies, and the way you have each time to share with us so many feelings and informations. Hugs. V
