Description

I realize that today is all about leprechauns, lucky clover and the wearin' o' the green... but somehow I got caught up in Greek Mythology instead; the Goddess of Love in particular. ;) So... Happy St. Patrick's Day to those who celebrate it... and thanks very much to all of you for stopping in here for a closer look at Aphrodite... a fractal interpretation ... :)

UF with border and sig in PSP. Hugs! Helen :)

A beautiful fractal Helen! I always have time for mythology. I find ancient history, mythology, legends, and ancient tales to be so fascinating. My personal opinionn is that many of them have some basis in fact. This is lovely, dramatic, very much the perfection I have continued to see in your beautiful art! You go Girl!

Interesting concept. For me, if I back away I see a feminine shape...the lines of a womans back. Is this how you're interpreting this?

Yes, Gary... that is what I saw in this... and so I tried to shade and color it to that end. Thanks so much for your thoughts... :)

A unique and beautiful image. Great composition, and I, too, see a womans back as a soft centerpoint for the 'torn' fractalshape in the front.

Lovely form and colors, like the sensuous curves of Aphrodite's back... ;)

Elegant and so beautiful. A perfect mix of color, light and texture, and I like the composition very much.

Coming from the foam of the see she rises. I'm not sure about the leaves you put in, but the center piece is lovely. Wouldn't mind having a closer look at that ^_^

MayI request that you consider a fractal then,'back to back?'. Just wondering....! Back to Your fractal. Tones of colour make this an attraction and ferns suggest elegance and nearness to water. A lovely model bathing beauty not unlike the author.

Very different and very beautiful work. It seems almost like an ancient statue, pieces lost to time and overgrown with strange vegetation and crystals. Excellent work!
