Description

A closer look to the bottom side of the ice reveals a stunning world of ice stalactites, probably created by the retreating water of the lake. I've never seen anything like this, it's fragile and mainly disconnected. From top to bottom it's about 10 cm (4 inches). Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Very good 3D effect created by the brightly coloured and sharp focused ice against the darker pebbly backdrop.

Sensitivity is being able to climb a mountain and then squat to curiously examine a barely visible phenomena. So wonderful to find this is all in scope in one human. The natural beauty has a human connection.
