Description

I thought I ought to level the playing field a bit and give you a British plane. The Mossie came in various flavours, not the least important being the lead plane for mass bombing raids. When you'd made the place look like the Sydney Olympics display, you might have to hang around for an hour or so to make sure the bombers kept on target and didn't get what bcame known as 'backward creep', when they started bombing too soon. Very dangerous work indeed. Thanks for all the viewing. Very humbling. Cheers folks.

Great job on this image. These could well have been done recruitment posters of the time. They all have a very period feel to them. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

never a letdown in the quality of your work my friend. Perfect detail and historical accuracy as always. Another fasicnating "woodie' would be the invasion gliders used by allies to land in Holland and France 1944 & 1946. Thse guys had to have had stones of IRON. Tanks for sharing. Dwayne
