Description

...an impression of a beech forest in May in my country, where the "wild garlic" may be locally abundant. When blooming they are an impressive sight, uniform in apperance and in large numbers. (As a herb, in the kitchen, the plant is delicius, if you like a mild garlic taste). Vue5I, Onyxtree, Bantam3D "Grass", XFrog, and Photoshop (mainly for colour/levels correction). Except for the blue "Forget-Me-Nots" from Toucan, all the objects and texures are my work, the "Wild Garlic" flowers are modelled from scratch in XFrog. 1.600 mio polys, rendered in a little more than 7 hrs. in "Broadcast" mode with Global Illumination.
