Description

Thank you very much to those posted their critiques on my last post - Honeysuckle - they are much appreciated, and I have found them to be very helpful! This is the other image from the same upr, but with different colours - very similar to Banarama, with a different zoom again. Again - honest critiques will be very welcome here - thank you!

In this one the detail does not overshadow the wonderful leaf shapes and background. It's gorgeous.

I find the background on this one a bit distracting and the texture makes it look like marquetry. I'm not too sure about flowers which look like they're made of wood. I definitely prefer Honeysuckle I.

Just lovin' this series. I love how the textures interact with each shape. Very nice, Tina.

Again a beautiful image, but I must admit I like the first one better. Probably because the colours are lighter which gives more of a "spring"-impression. This one feels more like autumn (maybe because of the brown and grey background?).

Beautiful. I agree that this looks like marquetry. I prefer the first on the white background.

Most impressive creation. Textures and especially the coloring is really beautiful.

I can't offer any suggestions on this one. It's a beauty

This one I like very, very much. The composition is great, the stronger texturing does make it feel less pretty-pretty, and the colours are great too (especially the grey, which 'anchors' the palette, if you know what I mean). Beautiful (without being pretty-pretty); I much prefer it to the last one. :-)

Oh, Man, what a choice to have to make! I like them both, Tina, but if pressed, I think I'd rather have this one on a wall. What a fabulous series!!!

They are both just lovely, but I tend to like this more due to the enhanced contrasts in textures/colors. Wonderful work.

Hi Tina - I prefer this to Honeysuckle, but this is in my favourite colours so I'm biased :-)

I have not seen the first one, but this just blows me away. Love the textures and the color palette so much here!
