Very nice idea here was it not William Blake who said If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear as it is - infinite

Super photo ~ also, what masks do we put on for others to view? Well done in all aspects, not the smallest of suggestions.

Superb image and thought provoking words! We all see things in different ways! Someones garbage is anothers treasure, a snapshot to one person can be a work of great meaning to someone else! The internet is a prime example where our perception of things come into play... measured by WHAT we READ! We can't see or hear the person actually SAYING what is typed. Because the internet is a GLOBAL medium, words get interpreted the wrong way many times or taken out of context! Whew...I told ya...though provoking!

I'm always using intuition and logic. Sorry, this time your words are so difficult to translate to Japanese. But I feel this image is deep philosophical concept. Great concept and the work!!

Perception is more powerful than fact. Were that not so, fortune tellers, carneys and politicians would all be jobless! Terrific macro, Marlene; and your text is even better! My Vote

The first of your quotes might just be the most accurate perception of reality I've heard so far in my life - I couldn't agree more.... Beautiful capture - love the refracted image of the rest of the world as seen through the drops. Excellent work!

Ooooh!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! At first i thought it was a waterdrop too before i noticed the chain between them. What a beautiful photo, perfectly composed. Wonderful presentation as well, youve proven yourself not only talented with a camera but also a pen...or in this case...keys....on a keyboard...for typing. Duh. I just love that "What lens am i looking through today?"....personally im going for macro since im way tired and can hardly make out the letters im typing. Must have coffee and stop this ramble. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!! #:O) Making ploppies...LMAO!!!

Firstly what a beautiful image Marlene - worlds within worlds, floating in a colourful space. Your words give us an insight into the image we could not draw without them, I think the subject illustrates this notion perfectly. Today I am looking through my paradigm tilt and shift lens, it is a rare model, but one that is in everyones kit bag if they look for it. Wise words and a beautiful image :)

All those drops got once connected and the king washed his hands in it, and asked, 'what is truth?' - reality and perception, a recurrent theme (in many movies like The Matrix, The Truman Show, etc.) to be explored more and more, and I love to stare in a drop like this to see the universe upside down and warped! Gorgeous work, Marlene, very thought-provoking!

I sure like this DOF,then find myself staring into the reflection. But what is truly inspiring about this image is the words accompanying it.I guess what ever lens is used is one that reflects back on you. Keeping a clean lens is always important. Have a great weekend Marlene. :)D

Woah! Powerful thought to accompany this striking image! Marcus was on track when saying reality is what the consensus believes...but certainly our perceptions change our reality. I know my reality and my brother's are very different things. And everyone's experiences and emmotions color their reality a different hue from everyone elses. Thanks for helping me focus my 'lens' today! =] Brilliant image MASter photographer and philosopher!
