Description

Another shot of a sit down hula from Tues. shoot. Hula is not just dancing but also singing along and telling the story of the dance as they interpret it. Normally at the beginning of each dance the Kumu Hula (Hula Teacher) will tell the story about to be performed by the dancers, so the audience can get a feel for the dance. The songs are sung in the Hawaiian language, and are not easy to follow if you don't know the language. I'm sad to say that my Hawaiian is quite pitiful, and I have to listen to the story told by the Kumu Hula to understand it also. I know, I should be beaten for not being able to speak or understand my own language...It's a good thing I have a friend like Sharky who has a good grasp of the Hawaiian language. I also made this image in BW and couldn't really decide which one to post, but if there's any interest I can post it later. Sigh....Ray beat me to it. She sure is drop dead gorgeous. And her skin looks oh so smooth. Theres a glow in your photos of these women that are quite remarkable. A special kind of look. I just love every single upload of them, and as far as im concerned you can upload them for years to come and i will never grow bored. Beautiful work Dave!!!!! The DOF on this is great. She stands out great against the soft background. She is also soft and almost glowing.Beautiful, it looks like she was masked in postwork so that she and the background could be seperatly worked on, am I right? Seems like a faint line that starts at mid neck and extends up to the headband. Wonderful work V
