Description

Hello all Three pelicans at Balboa park . They were all turned exactly the same and it caught my eye .. but then as I snapped this shot the middle guy turned back and looked at me as i gotten up fairly close .. shot just this just before they took off they are not like the ducks and geese that are more socially acceptable of people. That day there were alot of pelicans there now you go to the park and they are nearly gone . I wonder where they all went to!!? its funny how birds come and go and migrate . It makes me wonder if they have a set pattern or is it random? Have been suffering from a bad tooth /back molar here. Going to the dentist on Tues but have to wait till then. Been resting and trying to deal with severe pain as I have ignored it far to long. I am one of those that ignores the obvious sometimes (the dentist) as long as possible LOL. So behind on here again But know I

sorry about your dental dilemma. your capture of these guys are excellent. The pelicans at Key West are not afraid of people at all. they actually try hard to get food. you better have some food, because no one likes a mad pelican!!

Oh these three look like they are really enjoying your attention. A whimsical shot Kimarie. My dentist recommends Ibuprofen for tooth pain. It worked fairly well for me. Get well soon!

What a fantastic shot! Birds are so fun to observe ... I put seven bird feeders on our upper deck and they attract blue jays, and woodpeckers, ravens, and all kinds of wonderful birds ... we're now waiting for the hummers to return. So sorry to hear about your painful tooth. I, too, wait until the inevitible before going to the dentist. :o) CC

So sorry to hear about your pain. Never easy dealing with a bad tooth....i should know. When you eat as much candy as me, youre bound to have lots of cavities, LOL. Nah...but when i scuba-dive, the air-pressure then used to make old fillings explode. So i always end up having to fix the same ones....expensiiiiiive. Oooops...raaambling, LOL. Better get back to the photo...bla bla. And what a cool looking shot it is. 3 guys, looking meaner than hell. Looks kinda like the pelican-mob or something....i do believe you can pitch these for the guys over at Pixar. #;o) Have a wonderful sunday...even though you hurt.

Kimmers...I would love to see pelicans one day. Lucky you for finding them all sitting in a row. Fantastic composition. Even with the others swimmming around, it adds to the whole shot. Looks like a beautiful park. Have a good Sunday!! d

Pelicans are great birds to photograph. Unfortunately there are none where I live. Oh, well, I'll stick to ducks and swans then! Wonderful capture!
