Description
Thank you for your great feedback yesterday, Tunde (babuci) mentioned ciliate strap lichen and Troy (tmatise) mentioned Physcia dubia, and you gave me some tools to look further. Although I am not sure how much European species differ from American species I think this one is the resurrection cladonia (Cladonia prostrata), with characteristic leaf-like parts.

Lichen is such an amazing lifeform, so sensitive to its surrounding environment, and so many varieties in shape and form. I think jelly fungi are the most interesting to me. I digress, my apologies my friend. Fantastic capture Jan! I hope your weekend is wonderously magnificent!
