Description

Several owls have the ability of total silent flight but Barn OwlS fall into a whole separate classification of owl, different from any other type. In this unique family are included the Barn Owl, Grass Owl, Sooty Owl, Bay Owl, and Masked Owl, All of these species are within the family "Scientifically" known as Tytonidae (Pronounced Tie-tawn-e-dee), or "Barn Owls". All other Owls are classified in the family known as Strigidae (Pronounced Strig-e-dee), or "True Owls". Anyway I will be away for a few days so will look forward to catching up with you all soon.. Thanks to all of you who helped with the Kite in flight project and for any comments you care to make on this one

The soft earth tones of this gorgeous owl is what does it for me. This is probably one of the most beautiful owls I've seen.

Near silent flight on a moonlit night, swimming languidly through leafless oaks in the frost--it is almost painful to see what they look like in bright light....

OMG Daniel!! You are really killing me with all of your shots.. heheh I wish if i can go out a lot to shoot those wild birds/animals.. I got almost the whole canon series and i don't have the time.. Hhehehe Ain't that funny! :)) Oh well back to the subject now.. Owls are too PATIENTS tho do you know that! i bet you do.. And many people says that OWLS bring bad luck specially with their noise.. But in fact Owl(s) are one of my favorite wild birds.. And... We learned to be patient observers like the owl. We learned cleverness from the crow, and courage from the jay, who will attack an owl ten times its size to drive it off its territory. But above all of them ranked the chickadee because of its indomitable spirit. I really love your posts and i do respect your eye and you as a super pro artist Daniel.. Love the details and every in that superbe and masterpiece my friend :) Am impressed!! EXCELLENT!
