Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

with the terrain you would have to be 20' up to get a clear view but you done an excellent job from the street. the roof is anything but straight but after all those years no wonder. I love those doors

Another wonderful slice of history. I love the bright yellow and assume that its the original color the Bachs had. Acadian folks in Louisiana like bright colors like this. Maybe old J.S. has some Cajun relatives. There's a happy thought!

This image has special meaning to me, as a composer, with the middle name "Johann." Beautiful work my friend! My apologies for falling behind in my comments on you fine work! I've missed it Jan! Life can get so busy with stuff one would rather NOT be doing, instead of wonderful things like that found here with my pals at R'osity! Have an awesome day buddy!

In Bourges, where I live, somme old houses simply don't know what "horizontal" and "vertical" mean. So...
