Description

Some flowers do attract easier the attention than other flowers do. This one is an early bloomer, the normal butterbur (Petasites hybridus), with remarkably lilac and yellowish flowers. This species is closely related to the white butterbur I showed you earlier in Weser 25. After this long series it is time to conclude this journey from the North Sea to the source of the Weser river. To my astonishment I see I did not shoot the source of the Weser (called Werra here), but other people did, fortunately, like you can see here (for example): http://dav-haar.de/gallery/album10/120_G. The source is situated at an altitude of 797 m (2615 ft) and the water runs down to sea-level over a distance of some 740 km (460 miles). Have a wonderful Sunday! Minolta X-700 (Agfa 100 CTi, 70 mm and cropped) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments
