Description

Hello all! Something a bit differant from me today . Don't know what this bug is / I was on the run and in a hurry here, so didn't have much time passing by just tried to capture the light on his wings that shone thru them . I was drawn more to the balence of light and dark than I was the bug itself in this one if that makes any sence ... Thanks for all your time and comments ! love to you all! ((( big hugs ))) ♥ Kimmers ! :O) !!

Wow! That is a fantastic image! I also like the dark and light interplay, but the lines in the image are pleasing as well. Totally excellent shot!!

It does look like a dragonfly, but his tail's too short, and yesitis3 is right, they're carnivores. Great capture! Perfect in B&W!

I don't know what it is either, but it sure is a pretty shot. I would never have thought to do this in B&W.

A very interesting image because the use of black and white creates a surreal mood that heightens the flow of lines and the interplay of light and shadow. I would guess that this is some species of moth because of the thick and somewhat short body but translucent wings are not a trait of any moths I am aware of. It really doesn't matter because it is a very creative and successful capture and presentation.

Beautiful Capture!!! It's the pose of the bug that does it for me, almost as if it's embracing the flower with it's wings. And there's a certain surreal nature to this, as leeco pointed out, for me it's head seems human-like. Excellent work Kimmers!!!

It's a faerie. She is facing away from the flower, while arching her back. They often disguise themselves as bugs though. So don't feel bad, easy mistake.

Its really hard making out the bug, makes me wonder if it wouldnt have been easier if it was in color. Just me thinking out loud. Even though i cant see the insect, i still think its a beautiful shot. It looks like some chinese patterns....or am i just a bit too hungover perhaps to be commenting...sigh. Have a wonderful weekend Kimmie. #:O)
