After all those days without you it's great to see you back! I've taken the plunge into digital photography. Eventually the die is cast. As you might have seen the Jungfrau occasionally in my gallery I thought it would be fine to start from a point well-known. And from here the story will evolve little by little.... Have a wonderful Sunday! Canon EOS 30D (ISO 100, f/9.0, 1/500 sec, 76 mm)

Welcome back, my friend, I've missed you. I hope you had a wonderful vacation and took lots of great pictures to share with us. Congratulations on the 30D; that's what I have, and I love it. Oh yeah, the picture; what a perfect capture of this spectacular view. The mountains are so jagged and rough the look like they were formed a few days ago; I suppose in geological terms, they were. :-) This is a wonderful combination of colors, textures, and most likely temperatures.
