Description

You know this going around the zoo thing is damn hard. Normally you can walk the zoo in 5 hours (yes it's that big) but I was taking pics of just about every animal (and we all know how long that can take) so I only had 7 hours to walk, look, read and shoot. My mom and I arrived there at 11am and left at 4.45pm (to miss some traffic - well that didn't work). And there was even a reptile park and an aquarium to see with komodo dragons (man those are cool). Now add 2.5kg hanging from your neck to whole time and you still need extra time to make/answer phone calls and eat for lunch and catch the cable car. I hope that gives everyone the feeling of pressure to take good pics that I was under... Anyway this little monkey just couldn't stay still, so I would get focused and then he drats off again. Now I'm shouting in my head. OKay this goes on three or four times and then finally he/she stops to put somethign in it's mouth quickly and snap! And I think "damn I hope it's good enough" Tx to all for the support on my vulture yesterday. And tx to short ribs for his help with smart sharpen and egdes and how to do it! Hope all have a fantastic weekend and HOORAY FOR THE WORLD CUP! Brazil is my team... Hell SA didn't even qualify. We are lucky that we're hosting the next one because we'll automatically qualify as host nation and it'll be the last time for a long time that we'll get in...

Oh, BTW the DOF is to create those sympathetic emotional feeling of a caged baby. I know I should've min the AP to get a sharper more infocus pic... But it was an artistic choice.

I think that was a good choice of having the "caged" efect to this, cause looking at the pic, the eyes would have been in bad shadows and you would'nt of been able to see them........ Which to me would have destroyed the pic....... But you counter it in my eyes! Awesome shot!!!! Thanks for sharing! ;)
