Description
First off tx to all for viewing my little monkey from Friday.
Secondly sorry if there is quality lose here, the original file was 736KB beeg, so IOW too beeg!
Thirdly I hope everyone has a fantastic week this week and it's Youth Day here on Friday and the worlds longest ultra marathon on that day too The Comrades Marathon . The Russians normally win it but our South African runners are always on their heels, SA won last year.
Forth I can't remember the name of this cat, any help?
And of course tx to all that view and comment! Both are much appreciated coz it's your time you're spending on me.
P.S. My fav shot from the weekend:

It definitely looks like the Caracal (often referred to a the African Lynx: http://www.agarman.dial.pipex.com/bco/caracal.htm)... Nice beastie huh!

The top photo was an excellent and original composition and a great play with light. It is part of the 0.1% portraits where we don't need to see the eyes: excellent and very rare. Unfortunately there is not enough sharpness on the nose. I'm impatient that you show us the photos next time you go to the zoo. The bottom photo is a good try, but the top photo really catch all the attention !

Unique capture Vera, not an everyday occurrence if you have to shoot this animal in its natural habitat. You just show enough of the backside of the (black) ear to identify this as a caracal!

I like the 2nd image - looks like he's about to poke his tongue out at you, the top photo is a cool compositional image, but I think it does need the 2nd image for balance. And well photographed through the fence around him.

Sweet collage! I really wish the lighting had been a little better for your first because the composition would have been perfect. The second is really sweet with that tongue... Is this marathon you are talking about one of the 52 mile ones? Sounds like a way to get some great shots - hope you are going! +++
PeeWee05
I'm thinking about it, the traffic is always murder thou, so I'll have to see about it... it's ony 50 miles this year because it's the up run :]
