Description
A little more violent than the stuff I usually make. This pic started off as a study in procedural terrains, but after some time I decided that one or two additional figures could give it a more "vivid" expression.
In the end my computer almost suffered an nervous breakdown (me too!) because my original idea of composing the final picture out of two seperately rendered layers (foreground with the figures and background with the forrest) didn't work out the way I wanted. Amazingly enough Vue was able to handle five Poser figures plus an ecosystem consisting of more than 20.000 trees (not to talk about the procedural terrains) in just one file (poly count: >500.000.000).
No postwork except for the small flare at the two swords and the signature.

WOW, that's a fantastic image/scene - powerful and magical. You definitely have a knack for creating wonderfully rich and beautiful scenes I know you like doing that, but still :) Outstanding work here again! :) your variety of terrains is perfect for the scene, the forest in the distance is superb (it's the unreachable shelter for the fallen fighters), the atmosphere/sky is simply magical and 5 Poser characters - That's the cherry on top! oh, and I almost forgot - excellent POV! V :)
