Description

The title is the name of an old folk song. You may know the song, it goes ...Way down upon the Suwannee River far far away....etc. You may have heard it. Anyway this is the "old turning bridge" on the Suwannee River. Not sure of all the historical details on it, but I can try to find out if anyone is interested. I took this on the Lafayette county side of the river looking toward the Suwannee county side. I grew up in Mayo Florida which is in Lafayette county. anyway enough rambling.
