This is fantastic ... I see a cat and a couple of cat food items. And then there is a surrealistic tree with its roots apparently fed by whatever the cat decides to discard and life goes on. Of course that's only one of many possible interpretations. That IMHO is what's so wonderful about surrealism ... imagination is the only boundary. Excellent collaboration!

I've left it a few days to comment on this one, to see what I could come up with. It's so endearingly bizarre, just the sort of thing I'd expect from a collaboration between the two of you :-) Your composition is a winning strategy here, there's just the right amount of negative space and the extreme crop of the cat's head in the bottom left corner has just the right effect. And last of all, I'm so glad you kept colour at bay as monochrome was perfect for this. Well done, both of you :-)
