Description

Thank you for all the comments and views on the Barbary Lion.

Reading through the comments I wish I could take all of you longing to share in such a photo shoot with me on a wild Safari where these animals roam (fairly) free and where you are in such close proximity that their roars make your lungs reverberate, tasting Africa in your mouth!

This is the lioness of the breeding pair. That yawn betrays the late nights taking its toll, LOL!

No other boring facts about lions today, I hope you enjoy...

Wow! "Queen o' the Beasts," too! Hey Piet, I'd love to come down to S.A. and get up close with the animals. My only worry is that this lady or her boyfriend might want a "taste of Texas" in their mouths!

My daughter (Yukonjak) told me about the wonderful pictures you have rendered of the various animals native to S.Af. Your descriptions add to the render, to learn even more about them. In this part of the world, we see only small wild animals; and need to read "dull" books to get the many facts you put into short descriptions of your native animals. We can occasionally see wild deer in the local forests, but most of the "unfriendly" animals are small, and sometimes undesirable to get near (such as skunks). We do see brown and black bears in the northern part of our state, but not near our residential area. Since Renderosity changed their site, I had been unable to see your wonderful pictures. I'm so pleased to again see your pictures and read your comments about the many animals that are seen around here only in zoos. Keep up the wonderful work

I love these kitties! Wanted one for my birthday, but hubby doesn't think it's such a good idea wink wink
