Description

Ultrafractal 4.03 I've been going nutz over Joe Pressley's (joefraq) neat "geofractals" and have about BarneyJockIII'ed my brains out to get something decent in that style out of that formula. So here's one for my fractallin' dawg, Joe, influenced by his AMAZING "Fraq de Florence". I went for a vibe sorta like going under a bridge in a gondola. Hope the texture layers aren't a distraction - I want to make prints on canvas and so try to give a painted look to some of my stuff. I also have an untextured version and a "poster" version because I want to be a working artist when I grow up. :-) Thanks for stopping by - I see attendence here is slowly building back up - cool! Rick

A stuning abstract and a very unusual piece for you. I like it a whole lot! I look forward to seeing more of this type from you. Well done!

This is amazing! It is so much like contemprary museum paintings yet is original. It doesn't seem to have the normal Rykk in it but that's okay because this picture obviously ended up being a great artistic direction. It's going on my favorites list. Wow, I just love the little nuances in texture and color change. It's rewarding to look at with each viewing!

I like the rigid structural effects in this most interesting and appealing picture , Rick : yes , I can imagine being in a Gondola while it weaves it's way through the dark tunnels and archways of the city ! The water ripples are so excellently done and the brickwork is also wonderful ! C-ya ...........Mike !

An amazing one! I soooooo want this on a BIG print on my lounge wall - in fact I'd even redecorate to match! When are we going to be able to buy these, Rick?
