I'm a graphic designer from Finland who teaches using computers in designing, and whose favourite areas are vector graphics and typography and painting as well digitally as with traditional methods. - All said in one sentence...
I read a lot, I smoke a lot --- I'm not anymore young, beautiful and slim;-)BIOI graduated at Helsinki University some 20 years ago as M.A. - main subjects philosophy, aesthetics and Finnish language and Finnish literature. As a philosopher;-) I couldn't have a permanent job... I have been a teacher in many places; teaching both children and adults.
I am a self-made graphic designer and computer aided designing teacher. My very best interest lies - besides the pictures - on typography, in theory and in practise. I work as a free lancer.
I have the home page of my own - but unfortunately they are all in Finnish. But the adress is not a secret: www.valt.helsinki.fi/blogs/titta
All my studying materials are there - I teach quite a lot at Helsinki University.
Personal life: I live with my big black dog, Kirppu (in English "a flea") in Helsinki.

Lovely work Titta! I only tried oils once and obviously didn't know what I was doing as I hated them, having grown used to acrylics - so I always have great respect for anyone who can use them! Thanks for sharing :-)

Always too chicken to try oils, don't want to waste them. This is gorgeous! Love the muted palette!

Wonderful to see it at last! The water looks really deep and mysterious which contrasts so well with the white lily. You've made me want to learn to paint in oils even more now! Thanks for letting us peek :-)

Wonderfully realized painting and fine example of your artistically adventurous nature ... very nice water effect and palette. Excellent artwork.

I am glad you added this to your gallery. It is so beautiful, and I am especially happy to see it because I have not seen any water lilys for many years. Gorgeous colortones and textures!

Titta, you have painted the beauty of the lily so wonderfully, I love the reflection on the water and the filtered light beflow the surface making the stems and roots more visible. There is such a peacful quality about this. Excellent artwork.

Great picture, really. I do appreciate oil painting so mich, perhaps especially as I've tried to learn it myself, but it never worked promising. What a joy to see this. Keep up!
