Description
The series:
Some friends and I went to De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Trust a while back - what an experience! There were so many beautiful animals there - cheetas, wild dogs, caracals etc. Hopefully these pictures will relate just a little bit of the beauty that we experienced.

We were fortunate enough to drive INTO one of the Wild Dog camps and have them running around the truck, yelping and bouncing in excitement at the prospect of being fed. It was SUCH an amazing experience!
The light was a bit uncooperative in these shots, so there are some nasty shadows there, but it's one of those things, yeh?

OOOh, a hot weather dog! Look at those radiators, um, I mean ears! Marvelous shot and I love the boundless energy you captured here, shadows or no shadows. I have to admit that I often like uncooperative shadows, they add an extra challenge and a certain rawness. Great capture!
