Description

Some Summer storms came through recently, the last mercifully dumped 2 inches on us, like everywhere, we are unseasonably dry this Summer. One of the storms never really reached us, though it made for a spectacular light show in the distance. Deep rumbling sound was the other effect to reach us. I missed the most dramatic part of the show (Walking the dogs!! ; ) but I managed to get some good stuff! This is a simple 8 frame animation of the tail-end of the storm. I will also post the still image as these lose detail in the GIF process. Almost Friday!!! ; )

Very cool - storms can be so beautiful - but don't know if I want to stand on a roof during one. EXCELLENT!

Good Stuff? It's unbelievable! I have trouble getting the lens cap off, if I succeed in capturing most of my fingers. Thanks for sharing

Only 8 well chosen images. It could hardly be more dramatic with 80 :-) Yes, this is what I'd like to try!

I wish it was unseasonably dry here. Then maybe my stupid lawn would stop growing. lol. Gorgeous animation, Eric. Really well captured and presented.
