Description
The valley below Mount St. Helens, which is behind and off to the left several miles away. There were dozens of elk grazing in the valley below but were much too far away to photograph. Thanks for looking and thanks very much for your previous comments... Maria

Wonderful scenery, Maria! This sure brings back memories of Washington when I was a kid. (was?????? - ya mean I actually growed up????? Nah!) I always liked all the wildflowers there. So much different from Florida. There are no wildflowers here othr than dandelion-like weeds. Nothing but green and brown ALL year. Oh yeah - and of course the grey of asphalt. I have no idea why anyone would want to live here, especially in the summers.... But - If your continent hopping ever brings you to Fla, look Joie and I up. There ARE awesome colors on the fractals God has placed on the beaches in Sanibel!
