Thank you for you kind and appreciated comments on my previous series on the lions:
During a recent chat, Kai (short_ribs) looked through my private photo gallery and picked a number of photographs. He decided to do some post work and adjustments of his own choice. I am pleased with the results and hope you like the short series too.
I use PhotoImpact and he uses PhotoShop for post work and I am aware of the fact that the results on sharpening are not always the same.
Special thanks to Kai - one of our budding young photographers.
Please comment and tell me of your likes and dislikes.

That is one awesome wildlife-shot! Beautiful...cow? #:oP Hard to comment on the postwork when you cant see the original, but no matter what he did or didnt do...the end result is absolutely perfect. And your awesome shot made sure of that to begin with. Excellent collaberation between you and sweet and talented Kai. #:O)
Onslow

Must be good postwork if you don't even see that it was postworked ;-)) Impressive shot of this kafferbuffel (am I right? I guess that's what it's called in Dutch anyway). I once tried to touch such a guy in the Antwerp Zoo, and he nearly broke the cage... what a temper!! Wonderful work, Piet! (and Kai)

Wow... I feel like I'm watching Mutual of Omaha. Wait you probably have no idea what that is... But THIS could have been the main topic of the animal 'hunt' of the day! I would like to know what kind of animal it is. I might have tried cropping closer to see how that looks, too. Nice job...Both of you! :0)

What an awesome and enormouse creature .. and fantastic shot. About the only thing I may have done different is bring it in closer; but then I've been doing macro's so long. lol I use photoshop as well .. and I think I would have brought the image in 200% and cloned out the branches over him. It's great the way it is, too!!

Ciao Piet !!!! I'm happy to discover your new serie !!! African's wild Nature... a wonder for me, you know how I love Africa... And this big nose seems so sweet ! Just seems, I know how a guy as this one could be dangerous. He's looking at you in a strange way don't you think ? lol. Nice collaboration with Kai, there is a soft focus on this one i like so much.
