Thank you for you kind and appreciated comments on my previous post The Cape Buffalo.
As explained, Kai (short_ribs) and I decided to do some collaborative work, he picked this photograph too and did some post work and adjustments of his own choice. For comparison, here is a one of my previous, similar posts:
Special thanks to Kai for making this grown male Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) look spectacular. It was calling the female from this vantage point.
Please comment and tell me of your likes and dislikes.

Niceeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! That is my favorite animal :) That is Cheetah! But i am Jaguar :)).. That shot is simpley wonderful and every little spot in it speaks!! It is just like.. Hummmmm.. Its a live.. Ooooooooooo I like both ! This one for the slight bluring of movement showing the animal is not static and the other for the fine head detail and expression. There is nothing I dislike about it - in a perfect world a shot from a lower angle might have been nice to get more of the cheetahs outline against a clean background and lose some of the sky which is a large negative space especially on the right but this is wildlife and that is not always possible.

A very sleek and wonderful looking animal. I like the pose, he looks so powerful with his shoulders hunched up and his curved tail is icing on the cake. I like the movement in the shot too, nice work!!!

I agree with Andreas - the motion apparent in the photo is so appropriate for the fastest animal on earth. Love the color, the clarity, and the awesome power of this photo.

Collaboration yielded pleasing results, though there is something to be said for seeing these magnificent runners in their actual surroundings. LOL, our cats freaked when they heard that audio clip! Guess it sounded pretty exotic for our neighborhood!

Oh Wow! Unfair! ;0) Great shot Oom Piet!
