Description

Rachel is my first realistic human model. Everything here was created in Cinema 4D XL 9.6, using Clothilde for the hood and Hair for the eyebrows and eyelashes. Other than the cloth and eye textures, all the materials are procedural in nature. I choose a horizontal (landscape) layout for this particular render, since it seemed to provide a more dramatic view of the character. This project proved to be a tramendous learning experience for me, thanks to the good people over at CGSociety, who provided more feedback and comments than I could include during the WIP. Enjoy!

Most excellent model, well worth your time and energy! Curious if she has a body too, or if you're planning on doing that in the future. Her eyelashes look a little thin at the roots. I've been trying to get Hair to produce realistic eyebrows/lashes, but I'm not getting where I want. :) Excellent work, congrats!

Really top class model. The hair does look a bit out of place with the rest of the excellent work (I've never used the Hair module but I hear it is difficult to master). I would love to know how you created that skin shader. Top stuff!
