Description

The little old lady in the shoe goes sailing. This idea came to me for a contest and it made me laugh. I hope this is not a 'done that, seen that' image because I am very happy with it. Only post is signature, smoke,rope and Steph's pole. Standard Bryce sky, mats, terrains and trees. Made this image for a Fractured Fairytales contest for Odd Ditty Foundry. First, second and third get gift certs to their store. The contest is held through www.dreamslayerartworks.com. There's only 3 entries at the moment so I'm sure to win something, lol. Oh, one more thing. Bryce kept crashing on me when I tried to save this file with Steph in it. I had created some kids to put in too but it would just crash with them too. Very disappointing. Sure hope version 6 addresses this problem.

Most children's art is made by and for adults, and what adults think children should be interested in. Children themselves, unburdened by having to unlearn what is conventional idiocy taught by insecure authority and implemented by witless force are usually far ahead. Not to worry, most of their originality will be beat out of them by Middle School....

Looks like she just lived through a hurricane Nancy, lol! The little details are what really make this, though overall it is striking as well. The water, the cat, the worried old lady -- all perfect. Thanks for the morning fairytale break! (clever title too!)
