Hello all!
Here is Chrissy with her inner tube all ready for a swim at silver beach Michagan -all ready to dive in but having to wait for her tummy to settle after a big lunch !!.. Far off, you can see the St. Joe lighthouse and clouds clearing from the previous nights storm in the distance here.. My girls loved the saltless waves -just like the real beach but it dosn't sting the eyes, and no shark worries LOL!! I wanted to give this a softer painterly look as it reminded me of being daydreamy looking off into the clouds in wonderment as the sky went on and on forever!. You wont believe this but it wasnt posed just how she was standing as we were waiting that day . (I do my best to catch what is natural...)
Power's been out at my home finally bought extention chords and candles here it seems our breakers are not working finally got this compt on - Makes me think of how much we take electricity for granted - how did they do it 150 years ago??..lol -probally just sat around the fire and relaxed the way it should be heehee...!

This gives me alot of memories of my home state, Michigan. The blue is perfect and the exact color as her suit...The water grey, and I KNOW it is NEVER WARM! ...Well, not in the U.P., anyway. Thanks for the memories and the beautiful capture.

LOL @ NO SHARKS!!!!!!!! hehehe.. Yes no shark lives in a sweet water :)) "Lakes" and about the 150 years ago. It is the same when the Russians make their biggest, first and deepest Underground Metro lines.. I know some of the stations have 6 and 8 lines in one and they go about 1.25KM under the ground :)) Nice shot Kimarie.. heheh Love the pose, pov and the beatch :D I wish if i have the chance to go there.. But i also wish it have some sharks honey :D :)) Like i did in Florida this year.. They called me crazy when i caught a baby shark with my hand and pulled it out to Miami Marina Club ;)) (^_^) Thank you for the post and have a wonderful sunny day.. Kinda funny, but I've never really thought of Michagan as being "coastal" (if you count the great lakes as coasts). Nice scene. That's what I miss most about leaving California back in '92, the beach!. Soon we will move to East Texas to partake of the Gulf Coast. Hope to get some good hurricane shots!

Gorgeous shot, Kim. Let's see, 150 years ago 'rosity would be a museum, palettes would be, well . . . palettes, and no one would know what a pixel was. A lovely thought (except for the rampant diseases, etc. lol!) You certainly caught the painterly softness, difficult with such rich colors. Excellent as always!
