Description

Let me give you a brief background here. I'm a thirty something single mom with a thirteen year old son who drives me dilly at stages. Especially when he's watching WWE Smackdown or Raw. Of course his favourites are Dave Batista, Rey Mysterio and the Undertaker. So what does that mean you might ask? Let me elaborate: Mom has to switch off her favourite movies and turn to the channel showing WWE! And yes, I'm becoming addicted too - that is when I'm not hiding my head under the blankets in embarrassment as my son screams and yells and cheers for his favs. I am sure my neighbours must think I am abusing my kids as they head into life with hearty cries of joy and disbelief. Now South Africa is way behind viewing schedules, so every week I get bombarded with "Mom, please go online and find out what happened in this fight...!" Then I have to print the page [I only have internet at work :o(] just to prove I am not lying and trying to fool my kids. Nothing like being disbelieved by your babies.... The main reason why I posted all this trivial dribble is to explain the next piece of poetry I am posting based on a dream I had. "Flying high" My feet are firm Rooted in the gritty ground I peer back in fear At the hulking menace behind I scream and turn forwards and force my foot upwards and leap I gasp, startled, amazed. My feet are firm, feathered in the air and lifting me upwards above my fears. I glance backwards again and smile. The gigantic man was just an ant. I will myself higher and soar among the droplets misty clouds are no barrier. This was paradise. I zoom back down, skim over the roof tops. A loud cheer grabs my attention. A huge stadium Sparks and fireworks shooting in rapid fire. I pause in mid air Watching, waiting as the Animal greets his fans along the path to pain. I hold my breath and drift lower. My son, screaming and cheering sits in the front row. His face is filled with a joy at seeing his gladiator so close. I smile. Seeing your child so happy This was heaven.

What an amasing journey to soar like an eagle and such a sence of observation. I like wrestling, the supporters make valuable study material, LOL!

"His face is filled with a joy at seeing his gladiator so close. I smile. Seeing your child so happy This was heaven." --- From my humble perspective, it can't get any better than that! Superbly done, kind soul! (Btw: MY most beloved WWF (old WWE in years past) was "Miss Elisabeth". She was Randy (The Macho Man) Savage's cutie girlfriend. They got 'married' on t.v. Made even old, grumpy TallPockets get a tissue. SMILE. My best to you and yours, kind soul. PEACE. TallPockets/brian. BTW 2: "SONS" will protect their MOMS with their LIVES when they grow up.

The things Moms have to do, but your dedication rekindled inspiration, and the outcome is good.
