It's strange how life turns out sometimes. And what you thought would never happen, comes to pass. It's also amazing how one person, can touch another's heart, the way you touched mine. But, it seems as though we have begun to walk different paths.. you and I. It has also become apparent that our friendship and the closeness that we once shared has also taken the same path. I don't know why this had to happen, and I wish it didn't have to be, but I will accept it and will go forward. But first, I want to thank you for the wonderful times we did share and for your love, caring, and your incredible warmth. For such a long time we were an intrical part of each others lives. I woke up with thoughts of you, and fell asleep the same way. You mattered to me and I cared very deeply about you..... We were there for each other and you were definitely in my heart. Let me correct that. You are still very much in my heart. For you see.... no time can ever rob me of the memories.... or of you. And, I hope that no matter where your journey leads you, that you will occasionally stop and think about me and that you will always remember me with a smile. I have never wanted anything but the best for you and for you to be happy. I hope you are now. So, bittersweet as this may be, I will give you a smile, hold out my hand, and to let you know that if the time ever comes that you need me, I will be here for you. And, if you ever decide that you would like to be a part of my life again, please know that I would accept you with a warm embrace.
