Description

Hi, hope you are keeping well. Many thanks for the comments and crits on my last submission I really appreciate the time and effort, they do make a differance. Well another installment of HDRI mixed with a sunlight and something I always forget to mention shaders, this was a real struggle for me, I loved the landscape and the lighting/atmo which looked great on their own, but man this has had four sci-fi buildings in it, a wooley mammoth, two dragons, a horse, a stange alien creature from the freebies and numerous trees, rocks and plants LoL I hope I chose the right bits. Some fellow artists have asked for a tutorial or two and to be quite honest I'm a very seat of the pants kinda guy, if it fits it's in, my wife says I'm a terrible teacher, my main problem is I can't simplify, when I teach her she says it's like the insane leading the blind. I have a few ideas, watch this space. Morphing Cliff @ RDNA Archer clothes and textures @ DAZ Castle here in mkt place. Thanks for viewing and comments and crits always welcome. Chris

"The insane leading the blind"!!! That's gotta go on a bumper sticker, or something! Fabulous image, by the way! The snow in the low spots is incredible.

Great atmosphere and lighting. I like the way this image gives a real feeling of the sun setting and the shadows are cast perfectly. The landscape is really cool. The temple and character make an excellent choice. Reminds me a little of Lara's adventures in Tibet. I'm watching this space for your tutorials. If your willing to teach, I'm willing to learn. And if your wife thinks your crazy then I must be blind but this image looks fantastic to me. I think you'd make a brilliant teacher. Go for it Chris.

A really sweeping panorama! Using the character in the foreground aids in giving it its sense of scale. At that high an angle, I recommend adding one or two lo-res terrains in the background and raising them up a bit so they're higher than your main terrain(s). Either that or add some haze. The drop-off seems a little too abrupt. Nice structure from Castle Creator.

Whoa, beautiful shot. Great terrain, building, everything. If I were lost in that terrain I would be very happy to find a place like that. HDRI, haven't touched the stuff yet, it looks like you're doing fab things with it. The quality of light is gorgeous and that's an element that is often overlooked.

Wow, this came out fantastic. I really need to hunker down and use Vue more. I really like the way the ground materials came out.
