Description

AloooooooHa! I'm enjoying another American holiday Columbus day...not everyone has it off...I'm glad to be among the lucky few. The call of the ocean was strong this morning, so off I went in search of some waves...The water was quite stormy and nasty, but I managed to enjoy myself in spite of the dismal looking day...For me just being around the water is such a cleansing for my soul. I shot this backwash while enjoying the day at my favorite spot...All better now~ Have a great week everyone and many thanks for your comments on my previous posts, and any you care to leave here...Much Aloha to All~

Your ocean photos are awesome. In fact all your photos are. I went out this weekend to see if I could even come close to taking a picture of a wave like you captured. To make a long story short. I spent more time trying to keep the camera dry than looking for the perfect wave to photograph, and that was from the shore. Your photos have my jaw dropping...Especially this one. If I am correct, it is a the shot of one wave returning while another is coming in, and your photo is the collision of the two waves. Just an guess...
