I had this goose help me create the drop shot, fascinating - Andreas, take a tip buddy, LOL! Remarkable how clear the mountain spring water is in this pond.

This was taken on the Renderosity weekend for the South Africans. I am not too happy with the "edge" around the goose, but then it was fun. Please visit the forum and get the spirit of it all and see what happened behind the scenes too! Be sure to parttake of the forum for next year, please.

More photos of the weekend: Zeldie, Vera ,  Andrew and Herman.

YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Finally you found an assistant who could help you take those dropshots youve yerned for soooo loooong. LOL. I gotta tell ya Piet. This shot is simply amazing. The color of that water, probably from the sun setting/rising...or just polluted, lol....is just fantastic looking. And of course that little ripple caused by the drop sure adds to it as well. Swell job my friend! #:O)

Evidently, a rare photo of the goose that layed the golden egg. Beautiful atmospheric capture of the magnificent creature, wending its way through the sepia colored water. I like the cloudlike ripple effect of the water and the avian's reflection.

The edge is "vidging" I believe. It's a problem with digital cameras and good quality lens reduce this. You'll see when you get your 30D. I really love the colour of the water in this shot. Perfect timing and a very unique and defferent POV.

@ Andreas: that water was as clear as you get. No pollution whatsoever! Oom Piet, sjoe! Dis regtig pragtig!
