It was 7am and these geese were lazying about, creating such a tranquil atmosphere in front of the chalets where we stayed during the photography weekend. Andrew and Zeldie really spoiled them, feeding them leftovers. Dragon Peaks is a gold mine for photography and one has only to sit in one spot and see a world of wonders in nature within arms reach.

I received my new cam today... *grin*

More photos of the RR weekend: Zeldie, Vera,  Andrew and Herman.

Terrific capture of the goose in a moment of reflection and tranquility! Odd, but at first I thought it was some kind of mole or gopher ensconced on the back of an armadillo! The goose texture is sharp and elegant. Good going on this one!!!

Dis regtig pragtig Oom Piet! Het die Oom al begin speel met die nuwe kamera? En indien wel - stuur bietjie aan dat ons kan sien toe?!? Yes, it's all true what the Oom said about the Drakensberg. It's soooo beautiful and peaceful there. Really a pity we just made a weekend out of it. And now that the Oom has his new cam, it's time for another RR weekend me finks giggle Ag jis, the Oom has overdone himself with the capture again! Just not fair that some people just has it, and others has to work for it - like poor little me ;0) I like the feathers Oom Piet - really really a remarkable shot!
