Thank you for your visits and helpful comments on Straight up.

It was 7am and these geese were lazying about, creating such a tranquil atmosphere in front of the chalets where we stayed during the photography weekend. Andrew and Zeldie really spoiled them, feeding them leftovers. Dragon Peaks is a gold mine for photography and one has only to sit in one spot and see a world of wonders in nature within arms reach.

I received my new cam today... *grin*

I like this one Piet! What a sharp and clear image... beautiful texture and light. You've been very sneaky, I see....... sneaking up on this poor little goose...just when she least expected it! ;) Lucky for her, she's not allergic to down..... I wish I could pet this darling little creature... she seems so soft and cuddly! Even though she's giving us the evil eye! LOL :) Superb image!

This is so good on the details of plumage.How nice it would be to have you pillow always avail to snooze. One good detail is the eye. Many times these are too dark, and shadowed. Your light was right.
