Description

There floats a basket Black as tar The story's known From near and far Along the current Silent it flows Evil within it Everyone knows I heard a tale Of good gone bad The basket harbors The Iliad A body witheld A murderer free To scare the likes Of you and me Reach for it And if you dare Lay its contents Dry and bare Bones will rattle Bats will scream Forever you'll hear it In your dreams Look in the mirror Your eyes are hollow Reflections of death Will surely follow Some believe Some still ponder But if I were you I wouldn't wonder Leave it be And walk away You'll live to see Another day ;) Image created in Ultra Fractal... verse in.. ummm... Notepad... :) Thanks so much for your kind feedback on my earlier uploads... and thank you for zeroing in on this one. It's weird, I know... but it's also almost Halloween... ;) Thanks for putting up with me and my antics... Hugs! Helen :)

OK, LM...looks like those classes are paying off bigtime! This shows some new twists and turns, and magic tricks we haven't seen before. It's a beauty :) Your words are equally fun and creative. Cool poetry AND a cool fractal...multitasking at its best ;)

A hallowe'en theme from a distant mystery. Finely lined with embroydery of contrast and shades of blue-green and pink. It's an epic in colour.I won't touch the basket!Beautifully developed from the poem with the intrigue.

Somehow I think Halloween must be getting close - fantastic image and complementary poem; which took more 'render' time? :-)

How dare you challenge the classics. The calloused heel... the mother's promise/curse.... but you make it so feminine. The greatest warrior carries his mother's naivety to his fate. A wonderful image of mis-directed fates! Achille lives forever!. [Also, the poem is good ... very good.] [Did I spell anything incorrectly?]

To say it in classic English: that's totally smashing! I'm impressed by the poem and even more by the image. Top notch!
