Description

Ultrafractal 4.03 Wow - It's been a good while since I uploaded anything. Almost 4got how! lol Been pretty hectic lately but now it's time for our annual (gonna go 2wice this year!) "shellin' safari" to Sanibel Island and I just had to show y'all this one since it matches the vibe. Yep, more cubist fract-stractedness. I've been having fun with this style and hope it doesn't get "old". Joie and I are, literally, just about to get in the car and take off but I held us up for a quick post and to let y'all know I'm still here :-). Sure hope we find some nice seashells this year but even if we don't, the time away from the pressures of work will be MOST welcome! Especially for Joie, who has been working 7 days a week for almost 2 months! I know, "ya gotta do what ya gotta do", but I've found that working a lot of overtime isn't worth the money. Too much of real life gets missed..... Some things just aren't worth money, ya know? C-ya when we get back. I've decided to quit with all this picky-ness and have a few to show everyone. And - as ALWAYS - thanks for stopping by! Rick **(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! :-)

I love the style of this one, it really captures what I think South Beach would feel like (not that I have ever been to SB, but I have imagination). The sailboard and the town are wonderful and the texture of the 'boardwalk' is perfect and the colours so evocative. Happy holiday!

I think the fractal galleries need a lot more of this "cubist fract-stractedness"! A great work and a pleasure to view.

Love the clean lines and the sandy beach, with the town in the distance. I bet you could sell a bunch of T-shirts with this on them, lol! Seriously, very cool. :)
