If you look closely you will see the Rhinos hiding in the bush - a demonstration in camouflage. They are the same Rhinos featuring in my previous upload.

Although the photo was only cropped and sharpened a bit, I went overboard adding a heavy frame and wall lighting. Symbolically it may reflect our attitude towards social evils. I dare you to be brave and read a forum thread in this regard and not just camouflage and cover up the way I did with this photograph!

I hope you all have a pleasant week!

Haha I was finding myself looking at the lion coloured Rock just as well Rhino have lousy vision, and you were upwind of this majestic pair of animals.. Yes I know what you mean here, and posted a bit of a cover up job myself! But not such a social evil as you refer to..

Good cover. If you did not mention the rino I would not see it. Cover up is in life's nature, and so in humans too. All things could be used in good or bad cause.

Look's like somebody had some time on its hands...that would be a great mosaic shot when taken apart. Very cleverly done..now go to bed "old grumpy".

I was finally able to avert my eyes away from the awesome frame and concentrate on finding the hidden rhino. I finally did locate him/her deviously playing hide and seek amongst the foliage. Interesting capture!

A superb capture, Oom. Wonderful work. I have read the thread, looked to Jodie's post. My heart, my thought are with Jodie's friend. I hope Jodie/Odie leaves this image in her gallery. We should all be aware of such horrors. Good Night and hugs. Di Di.

I imagine some would not even spot these out in the field. Nothing wrong with the sharpening. Some like this need it. I do like this framing technique. Have a pleasant week yourself too!

My goodness! I soooo didn't see the rhino.Talk about successfully camouflaging himself. You know, you would think something so big and 'tusky' wouldn't need to hide so effectively.Well, the babies would,yes...Sigh.Ignore meeee...Have a lovely evening!-M :^) PS I edited.I didn't read carefully the first time.Forgive me.I didn't get any sleep last night...sigh.Wonderful pw on the framing. It looks real!

First, I come from a family who lived in the Victorian style well into the 1970s and huge, heavy, ornate frames with individual lights covering the walls like in a museum is a way of life for me - I love yours here. :-) And Second, How funny - found the rhinos easy enough but when I saw the comment mentioning the rock, I had to go back and find that! LOL. My brother is a desert tracker and he can see anything that moves in the desert, yet when he comes to visit me, he can't see a bear in the middle of the river without a spotlight! I, on the other hand, I can find any number of animals in the forest, field or mountain while nearly tripping over jackrabbits, derert tortoise and fox when I go to visit him. :-)
