Description

Well here is the Leaf Fractal from my previous image of the leaves themselves. I just went into PSP9 and started playing around and this is what I came up with. I removed the noise level, brightened the capture and added a small border. I am beginning to like doing these after taking the picture myself. Okay, I saw the Oncologist, we talked, I cried. I don't have to take Chemo, Yeah! But, I do have to take 2 shots every 4weeks. One is called Faslodex and the other is Procrit. My red blood count is down to 5 and normal is 12.5 so I am that anemic The Procrit is for my anemia and I will not be sick, nor lose my hair nor have any bad side effects. He did however increase my Pain Patches from 25 mg to 50mg and my pain medication of Hydrocodone, from 7.5mg to 10mg I go next Monday for my first round and shot. You all, I just hugged the Doctor and cried my eyes out I was so relieved. And I have all of you to thank for the prayers. I will later on take another test with regard to my Left Lung, but they aren't too concerned about that now. They want to get me on my shot and get my blood count back up and I want to get to feeling better too. Thank all of you all for your many prayers and thoughts. I still got a rough road ahead but at least no chemo and for that I am thankful and thankful I have wonderful friends like you all here at Renderosity. All postwork done in PSP 9. All comments most appreciated. Hugs, Susan~

What a lovely pattern Susan. This is such pretty work. I'm so glad that they are able to stabilize your blood without any further intervention from the chemotherapy. That's fantastic news. You'll feel far better soon and that has to be good news. My thoughts are with you, as are Cathy's. Take care my friend! Steve & Cathy

See? Refusal to be sick leads to good things :-) I'm happy no chemo. The anemia will correct itself with the treatment. Once I lost my memory and started blacking out at odd times (like when I was driving!!!) and it turned out I had lost all my folic acid! I went on massive doses of folic acid for months and I seem to be fine now. When your essential body components start to sputter, you end up miserable. Thank heavens for modern medicine and the wonders it can produce. This is a very nice image, btw.

Procrit is a synthetic hormone that stimulates the bone marrow to produce more blood. It is an excellent product. I received 10 shots when I had a surgery years ago. I hope this is going to help you. Good thoughts right to you! Amarilis
