Description

On the top right of the forest line, there is one of 3 house that sits above the lava flow. The lava is moving slowly and slowly towards the forest. Will keep an eye on it and hope the house doesn't fall victim to this ongoing lava flow. What a way to have a house warming. Aloha and thank you for viewing

yeah, i'll say...it'll be pretty warm that's for sure! it amazes me that people would build so close to something so destructive, wonder if home owners insurace covers lava:). excellent capture Errol!

Oooh! That is SCARY! I don't know which is worse, mud slides or lava rolling! At least you have enough warning with this! Cool shot!

are the red areas just below the crust only red in color or from being hot? a terrifying prospect for the owners

yesitis3...that red color below the crust is just the color of the rocks and not the hot lava. Terry is walking down towards a finger of lava below as posted earlier "Old and New Lava" . Aloha

Lucky if its slow going lava, so you can get out with all our things needed... nevertheless I guess one never knows when a big eruption takes places... thanks for sharing, Sharky!
