Description
The first weekend after recieving my camera, I took this shot of my parents while on a hike in the forests of western Washington. They've recently retired and can fill their days with beautiful scenes such as this. I was certainly struggling for adequate light since it's the northwest and the canopy was so dense. Suggestions are welcome.

It is a photo of the falls, they are centered and your parents are indeed dwarfed by them giving scope to the photo. As a writer I have no technical advice what so ever. As a viewer I must say it is a stunning photo! It is pleasing to look at and conveys the majesty and awesome beauty of the scene well. If you could add the thunderous sound it would be a different thing altogether, but the photo is good enough to spark the imagination of the sound on it's own. Thanks for sharing.
