Description
OK, a little experimentation here. I took this in a garden just down the road. well after dark! The only lighting was from a distant street lamp. I knew my likelihood of success was not very good, but I steadied my hands and took a chance. I was actually really surprised by how the flower just leaps out of this photo. And I have been geneally pleased with how well this camera (Canon EOS 300D) handles low-light conditions. That gives me all sorts of fun ideas :->
As always, advice and constructive criticism is very welcome.

really not bad for a handheld night shot..smile... and again this evening with this pic I am itching to try a selective coloring with just this one open flower left in orange and the rest in b&w... hmmm must have had something in my coffee thinking about selective coloring this evening so much...smile
