Hi Mere. You seem a bit obsessed by that conductor.. (hey, isn't that him behind that bush? made ya look...lol) But I'm sure a bit of therapy will help you get over that personel Phobia. What is the technical term for conductor_phobia anyway? (just curious) My personal phobia is those vicious looking restroom attendants... Why are they there? What do they want? Where do they come from? Aaauuuggggg... Whew... I'm ok now... so where was I.. Oh yea.. Great pic Mere! Hugs from Dave :^)

Dorothy the Dinosaur can be seen in any of these wonderful Parks, not to mention Yogi Bear and crew, all looking for goodies from your hamper ! but they might have ended up with indigestion, yes we all know you are not a good cook, but a GOOD story teller. And we all get to feast on you spinning your yarns ! Great capture BTW. LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)

One thinks of these English formal gardens as just going with the flow and freeforming over the natural rock and roll. Nothing could be more different from the truth as Brown showed.

Dear Meredith, Firstly thanks for all the wonderful comments on my images. They are greatly appreciated! Beautiful image from my town, Vancouver. This could have been shot in my backyard. We are blessed with some of the most spectacular land in the world. Even though I grew up here there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think I'm lucky to live on the south coast of British Columbia, Canada. Hope you enjoyed your stay here. You mentioned so many places that are favourites of mine as well. Especially Queen Elizibeth park, it's amazing. Anyway, thanks again for your comments and thanks for all the nice things you've said about our fair city! Hugs, Rob

I'll agree with cole here, B.C. has been on my "places to go" list for a while and I hope to get there one day. One reason is that Vancouver of the few cities in the world where the zoning laws are designed to protect sightlines of the surrounding landscape (the mountains on one side, the sea on the other). Yeah i'm weird like that.

Words can hardly begin to do this justice, nor can I express adequately the sense of frustration it gives me to admit to it. I will content myself in saying that this is a rare treasure and let it go at that.

I pass by this garden maybe once a week, and if you can believe it, have never stepped inside. Queen E, I have though many a time. Glad you enjoyed it here, and brought this wonderful photo to the gallery for all to see. Even a local. Have a fantastic week.:):) D
