Hi all. My name is Donnie. I enjoy working with 3D animation and rendering software. I do work on the side on a regular basis. Mainly flying logos and architectural work. All of which, due to NDA I cant display here.
Honestly though I really enjoy just putting my "tinkerings" here on Renderosity. Experiments or learning exercises. My main tool these days is Carrara. I also use Lightwave on a regular basis, especially with established clients whom I have done a lot of work for in the past using LW. All the scenes are setup.
I have been migrating everything to Carrara only, where possible of course. Somethings like Hypervoxel scenes are best left to Lightwave. There are workarounds in Carrara, but usually much slower than LW's HV's.
I really enjoy the accessible nature of Carrara. I know my way around Lightwave pretty well after nearly 10 years, but I have more "fun" in Carrara. I also use Vue, but not nearly as much as Carrara or LW. I really enjoy working on landscapes with Carrara.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!!
Donnie

This is crazy, for several reasons. 1 it's a great render. 2. Apart from being flipped, it's almost identical to my kitchen. Except for our microwave being above the stove and our sink being chrome, everything is the same. Same handeless cupboards, same colour, same floor tiles, we even keep our blender in that very spot. Top work. I'd like to see a version with the overhead light on.

Great work!

The beauty in this is having just enough room to take a picture without having the kitchen hotel sized as a model. I think you balanced it very well between a real space and a photographical space. Maybe the granite is too reflective. Once Carrara starts to shine it really shines. 4% looks totally wet. and 12% looks waxed. Maybe some spots in a mixer to break the gloss for a stone.
