Description
Most of the snows have melted.
The Glaciers have all receded, leaving behind the canyons and mountains formed by the gouging and weight of the ice.
Over the last 1,500 years the temp has slowly gone from -20 to 47 degrees.
With a few more years and a few more degrees, the clouds will dissipate, the sun will break thru and life will return.
Winds will erode, debris will fall into the canyons, creating a even more chaotic landscape.
Plant seeds and spores, blown on the wind, will gain a foot hold in these canyons and among the rubble.
Rains will produce lakes, changed terrain will allow new paths for rivers and animals.
All this is natures continuing change on our ride in time and space.
Will it ever stop, that changing revolving ball we call home?
What will be the next change to come?
As nature is not our true friend, nor are we hers Perhaps we should prepare.

Good one Frank! Real misty and somewhat ominous looking too.

And, so it is with the continuous evolution of Earth; and all the planets in the system. I firmly believe that 'global warming' is a product of nature - not the undoing of man. Yes, we are going through a period of warming; but, so are all the other planets in our system which i the result of solar activity, not the fault of man's existence. Beautiful rendering Frank. Glad to see you knocking out a new picture every once in awhile.
